״Whatever has brought you here, therapy offers a place to pause, to feel heard, and to begin making sense of your experience. Together, we'll work at a pace that honours your story, making room for understanding and new possibilities ״
I am a pre accredited integrative therapist with a background in nursing. I have worked all of my life with and around people due to a natural curiosity and passion for learning. I bring all of that experience with me and into my role as therapist.
I care deeply about creating a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted. I believe therapy offers the opportunity to better understand yourself, make sense of your experiences and move forward with greater clarity.

Working Together
More often therapy begins by creating a space where your experience can be explored with curiosity, compassion, and care. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you, allowing time for understanding, reflection, and whatever possibilities may emerge.
My practice is grounded in a person-centred and humanistic approach, with an emphasis on trauma-informed and neuro-affirming practice. I take an integrative approach, drawing on different therapeutic modalities to meet each person’s individual needs.
Ultimately, what all of that means is that I work with life. The things that happen to us, the ways they shape us, the relationships we have, the challenges we face, and the people we are becoming.
I don’t believe we can always separate one part of our lives from another, or that it is particularly helpful to reduce a person to a list of things they might need support with. Like an ecosystem, we are all connected — our experiences, relationships, thoughts, feelings, bodies and environments all influence one another.
For me, therapy is a place to make sense of all of this. A space where you can explore what is happening in your life, understand yourself a little more deeply, and find your own way forward, without having to fit yourself into any particular box.
Although conversation is often where therapy begins, i have come to understand that not everything we carry can be spoken.
There are experiences that arrive before words, and others that seem to live beyond them. At times, it can feel easier to shape something with our hands or to create using materials or colour. Artistic ability or experience is irrelevant here. These creative ways of working simply offer another way of listening—to ourselves, to our experience, and to what quietly asks for our attention.
Music, too, can hold a unique place in our lives. There are songs that have accompanied us through loss, joy, longing, or change. At times, a piece of music may become part of our work together, offering another way of expressing, remembering, or making sense of what matters. Sometimes a song can say what we cannot, until we are ready to find the words ourselves.
Being outdoors can also become part of our work together. At times, stepping outside the therapy room can offer a different way of being with ourselves, and often opens up new possibilities that were previously unthought of. Where it feels appropriate, and depending on your preferences, we may choose to use the outdoors as part of our work together.
There is no single way to engage in therapy. Together, we will discover the way of working that feels most natural, meaningful, and supportive for you.
